What are the programmes offered at PPKI<\/div><\/a><\/h4><\/div><div id=\"collapse-1-5217\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content post-content\"><p><strong>Cultural Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses offered are in the fields of arts and culture, including Arabic Calligraphy, Painting, Nasyid, Choir, Islamic Vocal Art, Kompang (traditional percussion), Folk Dance, and Theater.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteerism Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses offered are related to uniformed bodies. There are six (6) uniformed bodies available at USIM, and registration is only open to first-year, first-semester students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses offered are related to sports and recreational activities. Some of the courses include Handball, Football, Netball, Futsal, Swimming and Lifesaving, Kayaking, Badminton, Tennis, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw, Lawn Bowling, Table Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Chess, Golf, Archery, Cycling Sports, Taekwondo, and Silat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leadership Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses focus on leadership skills development. There are three courses under this core: Holistic Muslim Student Leadership, Young Student Leadership Transformation, and 1Malaysia Community Integration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Public Speaking Cor<\/strong>e<br \/>\nThe courses focus on developing public speaking skills, including Debate (Malay), Speech (Malay), Debate (English), Public Speaking, Debate (Arabic), and Al-Khitabah Al-Arabiyah (Arabic Oratory).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovation and Initiative Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses offered are designed to foster innovation. There are five courses under this core: TRIZ Problem Solving, Creative Essay Writing, Creative Video Production, Website Development, and Photography Skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entrepreneurship Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses aim to develop students&#8217; entrepreneurial potential. There are three courses under this core: Agropreneurship, Student Entrepreneurs in Downstream Industries, and Bakery Basics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Community Service Core<\/strong><br \/>\nThe courses train students in community engagement activities, including Mosque Management, Child Protection Transformation Squad, Women and Elderly Protection, and Hafiz Mujtama\u2019i 1-5 (Community-Based Quran Memorization).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default fusion-faq-post fusion-faq-post-5220 \"><span class=\"entry-title rich-snippet-hidden\">2. Meanwhile, existing (senior) students must register themselves online through the student portal (iStudent) two (2) weeks before the semester begins.
