It is mandatory to complete 6 semesters of training. Upon completion, you will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant (ROTU).
This course spans six (6) semesters, with a minimum monthly training duration of 16 hours and a maximum of 48 hours. The course is divided into two (2) components: academic training and field training.
Academic training includes subjects such as law, personal development, and nationhood, while field training consists of marching drills, firearms handling, first aid, community service, obstacle courses, visits, and assessments/evaluations.
The course module follows the guidelines set by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). Completion of all 6 semesters is mandatory. Upon finishing the training, participants will be commissioned as Inspectors (SUKSIS).
This course aims to expose students to the civil defense organization, its functions, and duties during peacetime and emergencies. Students will be introduced to the basics of first aid, fire handling methods, the use of ropes and ladders for rescue purposes, and marching drills.The course module follows the guidelines set by the Malaysian Civil Defence Department. It is mandatory to complete 4 semesters of training. Upon completion, participants will be commissioned as Second Lieutenants (Civil Defence).
This course spans three (3) semesters, and it is mandatory to complete all 3 semesters of training.
RED CRESCENT
This course aims to expose students to the basics of first aid and related skills, including fire handling, the use of ropes and ladders for rescue purposes, and marching drills. The learning module for this course is based on the syllabus set by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society. It covers basic first aid, emergency assistance and rescue operations, as well as health education. It is mandatory to complete 3 semesters of training. Upon completion, participants will receive a Red Crescent Trainer Certificate.
GIRLS GUIDE CLOVER
This course aims to enhance students’ basic knowledge and skills while fostering an interest in volunteerism. Among the aspects that will be discussed are an introduction to the basic principles of the Girl Guides Clover, using experiential learning methods to help students achieve more effective objectives.
Students will be assessed through assignments based on topics in the course framework, taking into account activities that improve personal skills and physically challenging activities that test students’ abilities. At the end of the course, students will be able to apply the aspects of basic knowledge and skills, focusing on teamwork, in their chosen careers.
